Vintage Royal Albert Trinket Ring Box Old Country Roses England Bone China

Description

This vintage Royal Albert porcelain trinket box has the original backstamp, the first one used, on the underside of the base of the trinket box. It reads "Old Country Roses, Royal Albert, Bone China, England." This backstamp was used from 1962-1974.The other variations, including the one with the curved line of text with the copyright date of 1962 are more recent markings.
The box measures just over 2 1/2" wide x 1 3/4". There are no cracks or crazing. There are a couple of fleabites in the base of the lid. At first, I thought it was just where the gold paint had worn a tiny bit, but I can feel a bit of roughness, so I'm going to call them chips. I do my very best to describe a piece accurately, because I know it's hard to purchase without being able to hold the item in your own hand and see it with your own experienced eye. These teeny flaws do not detract from its pretty design and don't affect its usefulness. I've tried to capture what I see in my photos.
I use recycled items for packing and shipping whenever possible, and never charge a handling fee. It's my pleasure to pack as securely as possible to ensure the package arrives safely.
