  • Condition: This shaker and grinder are in very good condition with very little, almost unnoticeable, small dings as to be expected. Please see photos. The grinder is missing the ball finial but could be replaced by any type of ball...as you can see I have placed a nut and it makes the grinder work OK but still needs a bigger finial.

    VINTAGE FISHER 1917 STERLING SILVER SALT SHAKER & PEPPER GRINDER made in Italy
    I have only polished these pieces lightly.  This shaker and grinder are in very good condition with a couple very little, almost unnoticeable, small dings as to be expected. Please see photos.  The grinder is missing the ball finial at the top but could be replaced by any type of ball...as you can see I have placed a nut and it makes the grinder work OK but still needs a bigger finial to fit over the nut.   I would imagine a wooden ball, sterling silver ball, crystal ball or anything that would sit atop the grinder would work better....an easy fix.   No problems with the salt shaker.
    These pieces are heavy solid sterling silver and marked on the bottom,  FISHER STERLING SILVER 1917.  The pepper grinder also has MADE IN ITALY on the grinder portion of the bottom...It is also marked FISHER STERLING SILVER 1917.  These measure approximately 2 1/4 inches tall X 1 1/2 inches wide at the base.
