Published in 1971 this is a pretty scarce item because they mostly got gobbled up by mining and exploration companies. This this 66-page large format book comes complete with
all four of the original geologic maps.
This is a great, detailed report covering all aspects of the geology of the area, plus sections on the mines of the district. Almost half the book is about the mineral deposits, with both general information on the nature and occurrence of the deposits and specific information on individual mines. The full color map is large and very detailed. The other maps show details of underground workings of many of the significant mines in the region. The mines depicted on the maps include:
