Here we have a marvelous scale model of "The Shrine of Democracy", the
Mount Rushmore
National Memorial from renowned artist Joanna G. Kendall.
This inspiring sculpture has been signed by the artist has been mounted on a lovely wood base.
Beautifully crafted in remarkable detail, this highly desirable piece is in very good condition; the faces are in excellent shape, there are a few specks here and there on the "mountain", but nothing major.  There is some wear to the base and some dust from storage - the only noticeable flaw on the piece is the plaque that was affixed on the base has been removed which produced some residual marks from the adhesive.   Otherwise this unusual piece is in great shape.
The sculpture weighs in at just under 10 pounds, measures about 10 inches wide, 5 1/2 inches high at the tallest point and 4 1/2 inches deep at the broadest point.  The base adds an additional 3 1/2 inches in height, runs 6 1/2 inches deep and is 14 inches wide.
This impressive piece presents beautifully, and could easily be converted to a unique gift by adding a personalized plaque.
