This is an elegant pair of antique Clarence A. Vanderbilt Sterling Salt and pepper shakers. The salt and pepper shakers are about 7" tall and about 1 7/8" in diameter at the bottom. The shakers are marked Sterling, 1676, and has the Clarence A. Vanderbilt hallmark. Clarence Vanderbilt was an American Silversmith from 1910-1930. The Sterling Salt and pepper shakers are beautifully decorated at the upper body. This pair of Sterling Salt and pepper shakers were purchased from an estate with many other treasures. One of the tops has a small ding on the bottom side and the other top has a little larger ding on the bottom side. THe shakers do not have glass inserts. This gorgeous pair of exquisite Clarence A. Vanderbilt Sterling Salt and pepper shakers are in very good condition except as noted and are offered as is.
