Description
This very attractive spoon is a souvenir of the 1901 World's Fair in Buffalo, New York - the Pan-American Exposition. The inside of the bowl features a great detailed image of the Machinery and Transportation Building, with its name
. The handle has images of a Native American in full headdress and Niagara Falls (with the word
NIAGARA
) plus the words
PAN-AM 1901
. The back of the handle has the word
BUFFALO
and has an image of the Electric Tower, with its name and height. There is a
USSC
hallmark, and this spoon appears to be silver-plated (unconfirmed). This spoon has a very good, very bright silver color.
It measures approximately 11.5 cm (4-1/2") in length and 2.4 cm (15/16") in width at the bowl.
This spoon is in extremely fine condition, with minimal signs of handling and a small amount of tarnish/discoloration. It remains a very bright silver color.
